Its not okay to pretend like you're okay when you're losing your best friend. Its not okay to pretend that your life is getting better without your best friend. Its not okay to pretend like you don't care about your best friend anymore. Its not okay. It hurts a lot.

But, it hurts more when we see our best friend is happier without us, happier with others. Maybe we're such a burden to them. Who knows that they might hate us and pretend like they care, but actually they didn't care at all.
